About us
We are Dirk Offerman and Pieter Pruim, co-founders of HOD Vintage, a business born from a shared passion for timeless style and sustainability. Our journey began when we met as students, quickly bonding over our love for fashion and a vision of doing something meaningful together. What started as a conversation between friends has now become a venture where we bring new life to vintage clothing, offering people a chance to discover unique pieces that combine history, elegance, and sustainability.
Both of us come from small towns that have shaped who we are today. Dirk is from Enkhuizen, a historic town known for its maritime heritage and deep connection to nature. Growing up in this environment fostered Dirk’s love for animals and appreciation for things that stand the test of time, including fashion. Pieter hails from Lemmer, a village with a rich sailing culture, where the grace and timelessness of boats have inspired his approach to style—elegant, thoughtful, and enduring.
Fashion has always been an important part of our lives. For both of us, clothing is more than just what you wear—it’s a way to express individuality and creativity. When we launched HOD Vintage, we wanted to give people more than just clothes. We wanted to offer garments with a story, pieces that have been carefully selected and brought back to life, ready to be part of someone’s new chapter. Vintage clothing, with its unique character and history, allows us to do just that.
Running HOD Vintage alongside our studies has been a rewarding journey, full of learning and growth. We are passionate about making fashion more sustainable, giving garments a second chance, and helping our customers find their own unique style. Every piece in our collection is chosen with care, reflecting our shared belief in quality, elegance, and sustainability.
At HOD Vintage, we’re more than just business partners—we’re two friends driven by a common vision: to create a space where fashion meets sustainability, and where everyone can find something that tells their story.
